During Deep Tissue Massage the massage therapist may use his elbows, forearms, fists and knuckles, depending on which area of the body needs work .
This technique ensures a mobilization of the Fascia (a protective tissue that surrounds the muscles, joints and bones) which detects inconsistencies and issues of immobility, and results in a relaxation and fluidity of movement.
In this course, we will focus on the bodily mechanics of the practitioner to offer him the opportunity to exercise a firm pressure without causing muscle or joint damage.
